Making Waves Layouts

Almost three years after our first vacation to Maui with Nathan I am finally working on scrapping this amazing trip using the fun Making Waves collection by Fancy Pants.  I created this first layout using the left side of Scrap Our Stash's February pick your side sketch challenge.  I also used some striped paper and two different fonts on this page.

I used Sketch~N~Scrap's sketch 170 for this layout of our trip to the Maui Ocean Center.

We love snorkeling, and this next layout features underwater pictures we took during our trip.  I was inspired to create a row of circles and other embellishments by the pretty rose garland in Stacy's photo inspiration challenge.

I created this fun pool layout based on Sketches in Thyme's sketch 359.

Grandpa Thomas Visits

Grandpa Thomas visited last weekend and hung out with us.  Nathan didn't stop moving for a second, and had a lot of fun playing with him.

We went to the museum of natural history where we learned about dinosaurs and watched a planetarium show.  We keep on finding new fun things to discover every time we go!

Under the Weather Layouts

This month I dove into Photoplay's Under the Weather collection to document some of Nathan's little and not so little bumps.  I created this first layout for CSI's Case 273.  I decided to use two kinds of pink and green on this layout, and used a lot of hearts!

This layout is inspired by More Than Words.  I will always think that Nathan is the cutest little thing, and this picture is a screenshot of Nathan stomping his feet to my special version of the "If You're Happy and You Know it" song.  I also love this little "my heart beats for you quote" that is on the embellishment I used on this page -- it's so perfect for my Nathan!

I used Scrap Our Stash's February sketch and was inspired by the cartoon to use a variety of bright colors and heart embellishments!

I also used CSI's Case 272 for this last layout.  I used blue and a weather themed paper for the background.

Final Mom Day

This month I am going back to work full time so I am saying farewell to my "mom day" with Nathan.  It's bittersweet -- this little guy is growing up!

We spent our last full day together having lunch at Chick-fil-a and going to swim class.  Nathan is constantly learning new things at swim class, and doing such a great job!
