Albuquerque Half Marathon 10K

This morning, Jesse got up early and ran a 10k in under 47 minutes . . . impressive!  I got lost getting to the finish line and ended up walking around for 2 miles . . . decidedly unimpressive!  By the time I got to Jesse, he was already eating a popsicle (okay, it wasn't that bad, but that was the point where I pulled out my camera).  Way to go Jesse! 

Back to scrapbooking

It has been two months since I scrapbooked, so it's about time that I got back to it.  Here is a layout that I created of a picture from my birthday dinner at the Corn Maiden.  The design was inspired by C'est Magnifique's April sketch.

I also finished up my stash of My Mind's Eye's Follow Your Heart Be Happy line by making a couple cards.  This first one has flowers and birds on the fussy cut hexagons for Scrapbook Express' April challenge.

Soweto Gospel Choir

Jesse and I broke our dinner-and-rental-movie date night mold this Friday by going to the Soweto Gospel Choir who were performing at Popejoy Hall.  I know, I know, three concerts in a year, crazy!  We enjoyed their lively performance!
