Family Fun

Last weekend Memaw Nono and Aunt Becca came to visit Nathan!  He was excited to see and play with them!

We took a day trip to Santa Fe and Nathan enjoyed his first time at a restaurant!

We also had fun just hanging out at home.

Nathan got lots and lots of cuddles!

Last 2013 Layout

I am getting a little behind in my scrapbooking, but this week I finished the final layout from 2013.  I used the July 15th sketch from Stuck?!

I had a few scraps and cute stickers left over so I wanted to create a card.  I used Paper Issues' Sketchy Saturday sketch for this festive birthday card.

More Cuteness

Nathan is getting more and more used to tummy time, and looks incredibly adorable doing it!

But just in case you think he can't take a bad picture . . .

One new thing we tried this week is giving him tummy time on the boppy, which he is pretty happy with.

We give and receive lots of love from this little guy!

Nathan may be teething, so we tried a refrigerated teether, and he seemed to really like it.

Blowing raspberries is something he just loves to do now.  This video isn't the best example, but its all I have!

Sea to Shining Sea

I am using Simple Stories' Sea to Shining Sea to scrap pictures of our 2013 trip to Connecticut to hang out with family.  For this first layout, I used the Stuck?! July 1st challenge.

This second layout is based on Sketchabilities' Sketch 142.

And here is the completed two-page layout.

Our 4th

Happy Independence Day!  Nathan enjoyed "seeing" his first fireworks when we went to the park and caught a neighborhood fireworks display (we did not stay out long enough to see the official show).

I also got to do some scrapbooking and chose to scrap pictures from our 4th of July celebration two years ago.  I used C'est Magnifique's July sketch for this layout.

This next layout is inspired by Sketches in Thyme.

Here are the two layouts side by side.

Over that Independence Day weekend, we also spent time in Connecticut with my family.  I created this layout using My Creative Sketches' June sketch.

MomMobile

Shortly after we had Nathan, Jesse convinced me to get a mom-mobile.  I am now the owner of an SUV (really a CUV).  Being the Mazda-lover that I am, I got a Mazda CX5.

What's funny is that now we have matchy cars -- again -- because my CX5 is white and basically looks like a vertically stretched version of Jesse's Mazda3 hatchback.  See?  We're such a cute family!

Speaking of cuteness, we put up pictures of Nathan's newborn photo shoot.  Seriously adorable!
