Watching Nathan

Some things can't be captured in pictures, so here are some videos of Nathan for you to watch.  In this first video, he is counting to 2 repeatedly (1, 2, 1, 2, 1, 2).  He can count to 3 now by the way!

Marching on

Nathan is doing so well in swim class.  He holds his breath, kicks his legs, and uses his arms as well.  We just got him his first pair of goggles, and he loves it!

It has gotten so warm here that Monday was the last long-shirt day for us this week.  Today the high was in the mid-eighties!  

Nathan is quite a character and is talking so much more now.  He routinely puts two words together (yellow bus, big airplane, etc.) and can repeat just about any word we say (only when he wants to, of course!)

Spring Blew In

It is definitely spring in New Mexico!  The wind has picked up, Jesse is suffering from seasonal allergies, and there are weeds popping up in our "yard."  This year we have another weed-wacker though!  Nathan actually did a great job pulling weeds, roots and all!

Nathan loves seeing things in the sky: planes, helicopters, birds, hot air balloons, you name it.  Now that it is windy people are flying kites and Nathan is loving it!

He also loves the pink flowers that are budding in our dwarf peach tree.  He had to touch each one!

March Madness

This week Nathan is making up for lost time eating his weight in food after his stomach bug last week.

It is good to see him with his energy back.  He is the cutest and loves putting on and shuffling around in my Totoro slippers!
