Transitioning Nathan to a toddler bed is one of those milestones we were not exactly looking forward to, since we were worried how his ability to easily escape would negatively impact his sleep. But Nathan started showing signs that he was close to the point where he would climb out of his crib, so we didn't want to risk him falling (let's be honest, he gets his grace from me!) So we bit the bullet, and he is so excited about his big boy bed! Although he did a lot of getting in and out of the bed the first day he slept in it, he actually stayed in bed when we put him down the rest of the week! So far, the transition has been a success.
Other "big boy" reports: his ability to draw a rocket(ish) shape (note his shirt that Jesse got him),
his ability to interact with more of the exhibits at our hands on museum,
and his impressive (and hilarious) first taste of blue cheese! He is actually a bit of a fan of both blue cheese and brie now. How sophisticated of him!
