Just Keep Swimming

Nathan has watched a lot of Finding Nemo lately as a potty training treat. That has led to a lot of Nemo-inspired drawings,

stories about fish by Jesse,

and a trip to the aquarium! Nathan was excited to see "Nemo," "Dory," and "Mr. Ray."

And he was so excited to see sharks! If you can believe it, Bruce (the big scary shark in Finding Nemo) is one of his favorite characters from the movie.

Balloon Fiesta Layout

I love these pictures of Nathan's first balloon fiesta, and I couldn't wait to scrap them with this Hot Air Balloon Set. I added clouds from the Rainy Days set and used the Basic Alphabet set for my title.

I primed each piece with gesso, added ink, and then finished the balloons and title with glossy accents.

Winter? Where?!

It has been such a warm winter.  Other than one week last month where it got cold and snowy, it has been highs in the 50s, 60s, and 70s.  Last weekend we went on a short (Nathan is newly potty trained after all) hike and Jesse wore short sleeves!  

Nathan has gotten back into the swing of things (see what I did there?) and has started pumping his legs back and forth like a big boy!

Baby Boy Layout

This week I am excited to share another baby boy layout with you.  I used the large Baby chipboard for my title. I primed the chipboard with gesso, added yellow ink, and finished it with glossy accents.

Well Deserved Treats

We are in the midst of potty training -- it's attempt number three -- and so far it's going fairly well.  Nathan has been enjoying some much deserved treats, and we are so proud of him.

Jesse was gone most of last week on a work trip but we were able to FaceTime every night and had tons of fun.

CE February Challenge

It's time for Creative Embellishments' February challenge. I was inspired by the picture to use twine on my page, and I also added some handwriting. I love this Bubble Panel, which I used behind the adorable pictures of Nathan and in the corner of this layout. My title is from the Baby Time Word Set, and I added a duck from the It's a Boy Set.
