Movies you can watch with Jesse

Building on my earlier post, these are movies I would absolutely watch again (in no particular order):

Kung Fu Hustle (2004)
The Bourne Trilogy (2002 - 2007)
Babel (2006)
The Chronicles of Riddick (2004) only for serious fans of mindless sci-fi action
Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (2000)
Serenity (2005)
Seven Samurai (1954)
The Constant Gardner (2005)
Charlie Wilson's War (2007)
Primary Colors (1998)
The Social Network (2010)
Event Horizon (1997)
The Fog of War (2003)
Riding Giants (2004)
Dr. Strangelove (1964)

  2. That list made me smile -- and even moreso, the title.

What about "Fight Club"? I remember someone (I think) commandeering a whole group of us to watch that, back in college.

And I remember someone(s) requesting (and getting) "The Last of the Mohicans" movie when they got married. ;-) Is that still one you guys like?

    Fondly,
    Beth

  3. I kind of grew out of Fight Club, perhaps unfortunately. But "The Last of the Mohicans" was definitely an oversight, though it's more of a Krystle movie. One of the best soundtracks ever.

Sorry about the comments being screwy by the way. We moderate the comments (who knows what our friends might post!), so it sometimes takes a little bit for us to send them through.

  4. I don't understand the hate for The Departed. I rather enjoyed seeing everyone die... I did think Babel was pretty good, though.

I second In Bruges, excellent movie

    I would add:
    The Big Lebowski
    28 Days Later
    Salton Sea
    Don't Mess With the Zohan
