Nathan at 3 Weeks

Jesse went back to work this week, so Nathan and I were on our own for the first time.  Nathan keeps us on our toes by changing what he likes and doesn't like.  One thing we decided to try this week (and he likes, for now) is a pacifier (his soothie!)

He has definitely put on weight as well, primarily in his belly!

He must have grown in length too, because this hoodie that was laughably big on his when we first got home fits pretty well now.

We have oodles of books to read to Nathan, courtesy of my sister Nicole, but Jesse hasn't read Nathan a single one.  Instead, he has read Nathan a slew of articles from the Economist!  So Nathan has heard about Thailand's military junta, NYU's Abu Dhabi campus, and retirement in China, among other interesting tidbits.

Don't worry though, I am keeping Nathan relatable by making sure he knows where his belly button is, how to say goodnight to items in his room, and who the old woman in the shoe is.

  1. He is getting bigger fast which is healthy

  2. I can't wait to read him a story too! 😊
He looks so much older already!

  3. Adorable pics! He looks kind of like Chloe when she was a baby! Good that he's getting exposed to a variety of reading materials.
