Vote for Nathan!
It is well established that Nathan is, in fact, the cutest. So, naturally, he should be Gerber's baby of the year! You can help him win in his age category (supported sitter) by voting -- every day -- from now until November 24th. You can vote by going to the 2015 Gerber Baby Contest Gallery and searching for Nathan's name (he is the only Nathan in Albuquerque) or his entry number (146750). I mean, just look at this cutie -- how can you resist?

Nicole and Chloe Return!
Nicole and Chloe came back to visit for a long weekend because it is hard to stay away from Nathan's cuteness. Chloe read him books,
Nicole made him laugh,
and we painted pumpkins,
which turned out really well! (And seriously how cute is Nathan in this picture?)
Nathan tried apple juice (still hated it) in a sippy cup (which he did well with),
and Chloe fed him carrots (another new vegetable that he likes)
and helped brush Nathan's teeth.
and went to our science museum, where we created a path for little balls to run down
and found the missing link (seriously -- these are fish with legs!)
Nathan took it all in and played with some blocks -- his laugh is so precious!

Indian Summer Part 3
I created this layout of the Breaking Bad tour we went on last summer. I entered two of the Scrappy Friends challenges: (1) I was inspired by the warm and neutral color combination of this October Mood Board and (2) I used feathers, brown, and mixed alphas from the Tic Tac Toe challenge.
I also used pictures from last summer to create this next layout, inspired by Papers Secrets' sketch.
I created a third layout this month based on Stuck?! sketches' October 15 challenge. I love the stars!
This is what the last two pages look like side by side.
Finally, I created this card for Paper Secrets' creative card challenge.

Nathan's First Balloon Fiesta!
Albuquerque's Balloon Fiesta started this week! Last Saturday, a number of balloons flew over our neighborhood so we took Nathan out to see them. (Look how cute and cozy he is in his stroller).
He didn't seem very interested in the hundreds of balloons off in the distance, but he did look at the ones close by.
Look at these cuties!
A couple balloons landed right in our park and so we hung out there for a bit too. It's fun living near the balloon fiesta park.

For Cuteness Sake
Nathan is just the cutest. Here are just a couple glimpses into our lives over the past couple weeks.
One day he was fussing a little, so Jesse gave him a toy. And another toy. And another. And it worked! He was fairly content with an armful of toys!
He naturally awesome air was on full poof display on a particularly windy day at the park.
Now that he has teeth, I have been brushing his teeth as part of his bedtime routine. He actually likes it quit a lot.
We have also introduced the exersaucer, which he likes for short periods of time.
He particularly likes looking up at the giraffe.
In this picture, his triple chin is on full display, which Jesse noted was particularly impressive given that he is looking up!
One of his new tricks is grabbing his feet and sticking them in his mouth. I haven't gotten a great picture yet, but he is at least holding his foot in this one.
We also took some cute videos. In this first one, he is captivated by his toy.
In this one he is making kissy faces (so cute!)
And in this video, he rolls across the room!
He is kick kick kicking in his exersaucer in this video.
And in this one, he laughs as Jesse plucks his nose!
What a bundle of joy!
